Meet the Artist

Susan has been handcrafting wood products for many years in the DFW area. She was raised in Dallas, and always had a love for nature. Susan loves crafting and repurposing local trees into beautiful works of art. Susan was among artists that were chosen by the City of Plano to craft items from the oldest living know tree in North Texas. This burl oak tree lived in Bob Woodruff Park for 400-500 years before falling in a storm in 2023. This art piece now resides in the Plano Education Center. Susan loves creating these works of beauty that will last for generations.
